1996-99 Chicago Black Hawks NHL Authentic Ice Hockey Jersey

History

This version of the BlackHawks Jersey by Nike has some distinctive features which are unmistakable. The first of which is the gold outline to the head and though not entirely unique to this jersey it was discontinued with the later versions. The second is the head angle which always tilts upwards slightly on these Nike variants. There are also subtle differences to the face.

Nike Authentic jerseys are quite rare as they only manufactured jerseys for a handful of teams and did not have a blanket deal from the NHL. The quality is reflective of the era, very good tackle twill but not overdone. Authentic Nikes only carried the Nike swish on the outside tail area alongside the NHL shield.

Excellent condition, blank with no tags yet no signs of wear.
